Denis is the Managing Director of the Water Research Laboratory and a Professor at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of New South Wales. His career has been marked by his commitment to using engineering to address pressing challenges facing the environment, water quality and in particular looking at contaminants in the water. With experience in using nanometals for site remediation and investigating the toxicity of nanoparticles released from commercial products, Denis has more recently been focusing on investigating the fate and mitigation of PFAS.
